FX (Family Xperience) ACTIVITY PACKS!

If your family didn’t get the chance to be a part of FX, or you did not pick up a Family Activity Pack, they will be available this weekend at the Children’s Ministry check in areas. The Family Activity Packs include all kinds of fun for your family to do together and they go along with our virtues this summer – TRUST and LOVE!

PARENTS OF PRESCHOOL-KINDERGARTEN KIDS!

Our basic truth for June is God Made Me! Make sure to pick up a memory verse magnet to help your kids remember this month’s memory verse from Psalm 89:11, “You made the world and everything in it.” (NCV)

Week 3 – Day 3 of creation is our stop this week! Kids will have fun exploring the Creation Station train cars, and learn the God created the land, plants and sea. There are so many things we can do with all God made on day 3! What better time than summer to plant something with your child and watch it grow – a flower, a tomato plant, or some other veggie that your child likes to eat! Or maybe this summer you will be at a beach somewhere. Take this opportunity to talk about how God created the powerful sea. Have fun!

Our JUNE VIRTUE is TRUST – PUTTING YOUR CONFIDENCE IN SOMEONE YOU CAN DEPEND ON.

Week 3 – We continue or epic adventure of trust and love as the kids will be challenged to face their fears. When things around us seem scary and we don’t feel like we have control over a situation, we can call out to Jesus. He wants to help and calm things down, and he also encourages us to trust Him and have faith in His power and strength. Our bottom line this week is I can depend on God because He’s bigger than my problems. What do you think your kids are most afraid of? Where do they find it hardest to trust God? Talk about it this week and encourage them with the fact that we can trust God no matter what! Read Matthew 22:37-38. I bet your child can say it by memory!
