PARENTS OF PRESCHOOL-KINDERGARTEN KIDS!
Our basic truth for April is Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever! Your kid’s will come home this month knowing Proverbs 17:17 by memory, “A friend loves at all times.”
Week 4 – Jesus is our good friend, even when we do something bad. Kids will hear the story from Luke 7 about the woman who poured her special perfume on Jesus. Even though Jesus knew she had done bad things, he knew she was sorry and told her that he loved her in spite of what she had done. How many times do we have to discipline our children, because it is what’s best for them, but we still love them in spite of what they did.

Week 4 – This week our bottom line is whatever happens, remember Jesus is always with you. In Matthew 28, Jesus’ disciples are hanging on every word he says as they know he is leaving them. Jesus rises into the sky and the disciples I’m sure felt alone like they never had before. But, we know that Jesus promised his disciples and US that he is always with us and he has sent his Holy Spirit to live inside us and guide us every day.
FAMILY DEDICATION
The act of dedicating children to the Lord was a common practice of blessing in biblical times. Just as Hannah, the mother of Samuel, dedicated her son to the Lord (1 Samuel 1) and Mary presented Jesus to God (Luke 1:21-38), we encourage our families to commit their children to God and to commit to raising them with His help.
